Stand up paddle boarding may seem like an extreme sport to some, however, it is actually a very simple sport. At the beginning of each tour, Justin starts with a quick and easy demo to make you comfortable and confident while you’re on the water. If you would like a FREE 10-minute tutorial before your tour begins, notify us by phone or email at time of booking. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll find paddling is a great way to experience the river!

Florida weather can be unpredictable. We monitor the weather closely as safety is a priority at SUP Tropic Adventures. If there are unfavorable conditions, we will make the final call before the start of tour. You have the choice to reschedule your tour or receive a full refund. Please review cancellation policy.

Absolutely we take breaks! The Manatee River has a variety of sand bars and beaches to pull aside, hydrate and take some photos. The estimated tour timeframe includes short breaks along the route.

Yes both Fort Hamer Park and Rye Preserve have plenty of parking.

Lifejackets are not required to be worn but one will be included with your rental. It’s up to you if you would like to wear it.

All equipment needed for a fun paddle will be provided i.e. board, paddle, fin, leash and pfd. We recommend you bring some sunscreen a towel and bug spray. A bottle of water will also be provided but it’s recommend that you bring more.

If you do have to cancel your adventure we understand. You will receive a full refund or credit within 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone or email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
